PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb fluctuation due to the change of temperature by measuring and correcting an eccentric correction value in a real time in performing on- track control. SOLUTION: This disk device is provided with a disk medium in which servo information is magnetically recorded in a sector area on a cylinder, a head position detecting means 185 for detecting the head position corresponding to the track center of the detected position of the head means 14 from the reading signal of the servo information, and a correction table means 194 for storing a position error calculated by on-track control as an eccentric correction value. Then, the head means 14 is driven so that the position error can be turned into zero by subtracting the head position from a corrected target value calculated by subtracting the previous eccentric correction value obtained by the reading of the correction table means 194 from a target position set in an on-track state after the head means 14 is moved to an arbitrary cylinder, and a new eccentric correction value is obtained by adding the head position to the previous eccentric correction value, and stored in the correction table 194.
