<p>PURPOSE: A system for testing an IMT(International Mobile Telecommunication)-2000 RNC(Radio Network Controller) is provided to minimize a time and a cost according to the initialization of an IMT-2000 communication system by testing various functions of the IMT-2000 RNC using an RNC test system, a protocol analyzer, and a simulation tool. CONSTITUTION: A test module(20) performs functions of a node B for executing the transmission and reception of a signal about an IMT-2000 terminal and the conversion and encryption/decryption of a communication protocol, and performs an interface function for certifying an entire operation state of the RNC(30). A test terminal(10) connects to the test module(20) by wire, and certifies the entire operation state of the RNC(30) through a test scenario. The RNC(30) controls the assignment of a communication channel about each IMT-2000 terminal, determines a hand-over, and processes a call request requested from a plurality of node B. The RNC(30) continuously processes signals until a call is ended, and collectively manages, adjusts, and controls all node B. An MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(40) connects to a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network), and connects a wired and wireless general telephone, a mobile communication terminal, and the IMT-2000 terminal.</p> |
