A medicinal composition which has excellent storage stability and,even through long−term storage,is less apt to change in the rate of release of the pharmacologically active substance contained therein.The medicinal composition is one obtained by dissolving or dispersing a pharmacologically active substance and a pH−independent water−insoluble polymer in a molten low−melting substance.It is produced by dissolving or dispersing the pharmacologically active substance in a molten mixture of the low−melting substance and the pH−independent water−insoluble polymer and spraying and cooling the resultant liquid.
