PURPOSE: A device for monitoring an operation process status in a mobile communication system is provided to monitor a status of operation processes in a service system, and to minimize an influence on an entire system when an optional operation process is abnormal, thereby optimally operating the system. CONSTITUTION: A shared memory(100) has an operation process table stored with information on whether a failure is generated. A PSMD(Process Status Monitoring Daemon)(200) periodically calls an operating system(1) to receive process status information on each of operation processes, and compares the status information with status information of the shared memory(100), then confirms a stopped operation process of the operation processes according to a compared result. The PSMD(200) restarts an operation of the stopped process, and periodically checks whether a failure is generated in the shared memory(100). If a failure is generated in an operation process, the PSMD(200) informs an operator of the failure. |
