PURPOSE: Y-tube structure of an exhaust system and a forming method thereof are provided to form the uniform shape by preventing leakage without welding portion, and to cut down expenses by reducing working process. CONSTITUTION: A flexible pipe is selected to manufacture a Y-tube, and cut based on the volume. An end of the pipe is expanded and the other end is contracted by a hydraulic press in placing the pipe in a die. Two holes are formed in the expanded part of the pipe by closing the die, and a hole is formed in the contracted part in placing the formed pipe in the die. The Y-tube is manufactured by forming two ports and the hole with applying high pressure in injecting water or oil to holes. Leak is prevented, and appearance is improved by forming the uniform shape without welding.
