MEDICINAL PLANT EXTRACT PRESERVING AGENT USING GRAPE EXTRACT AND METHOD FOR PRESERVING MEDICINAL PLANT EXTRACT

PURPOSE: A method of preparing a medicinal plant extract preserving agent by extracting grapes with water as a solvent to cause the grapes to undergo a browning reaction is provided. Therefore, this agent improves the taste and flavor of a medicinal plant extract during drinking while increasing preservation thereof. CONSTITUTION: Grapes are added with 0 to 10 times of water and heated at about 100deg.C for 3 to 70hr. 0.5 to 100 parts by weight of the extract as a medicinal plant extract preserving agent is added to 100 parts by weight of a conventional medicinal plant extract to prevent acidification and spoilage of the medicinal plant extract. A Panax ginseng extract is also added to the conventional medicinal plant extract.
