PURPOSE: A method for editing a web document on the Internet is provided to edit document editing without running an edit application program when moving to many web pages linked to the web document. CONSTITUTION: An application program exclusively for editing is installed on a PC of a user(S100). The web document to edit is opened(S101). The application program is run(S102). The authentication of the user is performed(S103). A homepage account of the web document and a password of the user are checked(S104). The homepage account is compared with the password of the user(S105). If the homepage account is the same as the password, the application program is operated in a stand-by state(S106). If a right-side button of a mouse is inputted, an edit menu window is displayed on the corresponding web page(S108). The editing of the web page is performed on the edit menu window(S109). When moving to the other web page linked to the edited web page, the application program is linked to the corresponding web page(S112).
