The dispenser consists of a cylinder (11) with a piston (16) attached to a flexible membrane (14). The piston travel is limited by a screw (33). A ring seal (20) surrounds the piston to form first (21) and second (22) chambers. The first is for a measured quantity of clear rinsing agent, and the second for water. Charging the chamber (40) formed on the reverse side of the membrane with pressurized dish washer liquid flexes the membrane forcing the piston forward until it impacts on the screw and ejects the clear rinsing agent into the machine tank whilst at the same time compressing the second chamber to eject the water likewise.
