The invention relates to a vertical boxless mould casting machine. The inventive machine comprises a station (1) having a chamber (2) that is closed by a mobile pivoting front panel (5) and by a rear panel (8) which is connected to a valve piston (9), thereby allowing a boxless mould (3) to be formed in the chamber (2) by blowing in sand by means of an upper hood or hopper (4). The boxless mould (3) obtained is pushed by the piston (9) towards a rear area comprising a line of boxless moulds (3') which are located on a conveyor (7) that transfers said moulds in front of a casting station. The novelty of the invention lies in the fact that the movement of the boxless mould (3) pushed by the valve piston (9) is independent of the movement of the boxless mould once it has been introduced into the line of moulds, the movement of said line being generated exclusively by the conveyor system (7). In this way, the work cycle time can be reduced and the boxless moulds do not deteriorate as said moulds are not crushed by the piston (9) when they are pushed against the rear part of the line of boxless moulds (3').
