The invention relates to a composition having a therapeutic activity, to uses of the composition, and to a method for producing the same. The aim of the invention is to create a therapeutic agent, particularly for therapeutically treating psora (psoriasis), which does not result in any cytotoxic effect while exhibiting a good activity and, in addition, has essentially no miscellaneous side-effects. To this end, the inventive composition having a therapeutic activity is comprised of constituents extracted from the plant Plumbago europaea and of at least one additional constituent of natural origin. The constituents extracted from Plumbago europaea in conjunction with additional constituents of natural origin, e.g. dairy products or garlic extract, exhibit a distinct therapeutic effect when externally applied without any undesired side-effects with the exception of temporary skin irritations at the beginning of treatment,. Absolutely no cytotoxic effects are observed by virtue of the fact that that the composition is natural. |
