<p>A cleaning device (13) is provided for cleaning the rear windscreen (11) of a motor vehicle (10), especially a saloon type vehicle (10). The cleaning device (13) has a wiper arm (16) and drive means (14) drivingly connected to the wiper arm (16) and operable to drive the arm (16) in an oscillating motion. The motor (14) has attachment means (15) such as an adhesive surface (15) whereby the cleaning device (13) is attached to the outside surface of the windscreen (11). Remote control means (20, 21), preferably an infra red generator (21) and a receiver (20) electrically connected to the motor (14), enable operation of the cleaning device (13) from inside the vehicle (10).</p> |
