PURPOSE: A method for processing a binding yarn of a communication optical cable is provided which can increase the dyeing efficiency of a polyester raw yarn. CONSTITUTION: A polyester raw yarn is twisted in the left with 15 times/M, and then it is wound around a conical bobbin(12) with a rate of 1200 RPM. And then it is thermally treated in a dry condition for 1-2 hours with a high temperature of 120-150 deg.C in a thermal processing chamber comprising an electric heater(14) and a heat circulation hole(15) and a top/bottom separation part(17). Thus a static electricity is reduced and therefore a contraction of the raw yarn is prevented.
