The invention relates to a stage housing (1) constructed from multiple metal sheets, in particular for centrifugal pumps. Said stage housing contains blades (3), whereby flow channels (5) that are delimited by the blades (3) are covered by at least one planar sheet metal shaped part (9), which is connected to the blades (5). A planar sheet metal shaped part (9) of this type forms a stage housing wall. The production of said sheet metal shaped parts is significantly improved by a material saving. To achieve this, the periphery (10) of the sheet metal shaped part (9) is formed by several edges (11-11.2), with transitions in the form of continuous lines (12-14) being configured between adjacent edge areas, said transitions producing negligible sheet metal cutting waste. Two opposing edges (11-11.2) have an identical section line. |
