The safety cover for the movable tree maintenance lifting platform (11) has a top cover fitted onto a safety rail of the platform for the complete covering of the main face of the rail. At least one longitudinal side of the top cover has a cover (3) to cover the front and side sections of the platform walls. The top is hinged at its edges (4) to allow folding.
