The system comprises a data signal amplifier (2) and its current supply and a coupling circuit for the amplified data signal feed into the current supply network. There is a measuring unit (8,9) for the power take-up of the amplifier. An amplifier control (1) acts upon the data signal in dependence on the power take-up. Pref. the measuring unit comprises a measuring resistor (8) and a measuring transistor (9).
