MEDICINAL COMPOSITIONS FOR PERCUTANEOUS ABSORPTION

Medicinal compositions containing the following components: (1) an antiarrhythmic such as disopyramide, mexiletine, propafenone, flecainide or pilscicainide, and (2) one or more substances selected from the group consisting of higher alcohols, fatty acid amides, glycerol fatty acid esters, terpenes, lower alcohols, polyhydric alcohols and amine compounds. When such a composition is adhered to the skin, the antiarrhythmic can be continuously absorbed percutaneously and thus arrhythmic can be efficaciously prevented over a long time or the occurrence of arrhythmic can be efficaciously prevented.
