PURPOSE: To improve an actuator structure of an auxiliary switch so as to prevent reaction from an auxiliary switch from dropping the contact pressure of the main contact with a circuit breaker kept on. CONSTITUTION: A sub-switch (auxiliary switch) 11 mounted to a circuit breaker is composed of a microswitch 15, a main lever 18 with a tip facing a moving contact 5 of the circuit breaker as an actuator lever, and an auxiliary lever 19 interlaid between the main lever and an actuator 15a of the microswitch by changing its supporting position from that of the main lever. The point of action between the main lever and the auxiliary lever and the gearing angle thereof are so set as to make them different before and after the switch changeover operation of the auxiliary switch. A force vector applied to the main lever from the microswitch through the auxiliary lever in turning on the breaker is changed from a direction P to a direction Q after the switch changeover operation. Thereby, reaction from the auxiliary switch acting in a direction dropping the contact pressure of the main contact of the breaker body is reduced.
