PURPOSE: Provided is an anti-aging cosmetics composition containing a phenolic compound extracted from Areca Catechu L., wherein the phenolic compound has inhibition effect on porcine pancreatic elastase(PPE) and human neutrophil elastase(HNE). CONSTITUTION: The anti-aging cosmetics composition characteristically contains 0.00001-5.0 wt.%, preferably 0.001-1.0 wt.% of a phenolic compound extracted from Areca Catechu L., and has a whitening effect and wrinkle improvement effect. It can be formulated into skin toner, skin nutrient cream, skin massage cream or a massage pack.
