The invention relates to a rubber mixture that can be cross linked by sulfur and containing: a) at least one diene polymer or diene copolymer; b) at least one fine particle acid activated phyllosilicate which is derived from a smectitic phyllosilicate and which serves as reinforcing filler, and; c) at least one coupler with groups that are reactive to filler (b). The cross linkable rubber mixture can be produced according to a method comprising the following steps: (i) mixing the diene polymer or diene copolymer (a) and the reinforcing filler (b) with coupler (c) and or, optionally, with a master batch mixture of the filler (b) with coupler (c1) as well as, optionally, with other usual loading materials, with the exception of the vulcanization chemicals, while using usual mixing aggregates at a temperature ranging from approximately 105 to 150 C, and; (ii) admixing the vulcanization chemicals at a temperature of less than approximately 100 C. The invention further relates to a rubber mixture which is cross linked by sulfur and which can be obtained, by carrying out vulcanization at temperatures of greater than approximately 100 C, from the rubber mixture that can be cross linked by sulfur. The invention lastly relates to shaped bodies, especially vehicle tires or parts thereof, rubber bearings, conveying belts, hoses and sealing elements, that can be obtained from the cross linkable or cross linked rubber mixture. |
