The goods storage compartment has an open front side which is closed by a door and at least one pair of guide rails attached to its opposing sidewalls for supporting a drawer. At least one guide rail of each pair mounted on the sidewall at an angle via a adaption element (20) ensuring that the guide rails extend parallel to one another. The adapation elements for the guide rails of each guide rail par may lie in mirror symmetry to one another. An Independent claim for a refrigeration appliance with a goods storage compartment is also included.
