PURPOSE: A waist supporting apparatus of a seat for a vehicle is provided to improve comfortableness by contacting the body of a passenger to a seat cushion and a seat back and supporting the waist continuously with embedding a cushion supporting unit in the lower part of the seat cushion. CONSTITUTION: A seat of a vehicle is composed of a seat cushion and a seat back, and a cushion supporting unit(10) is embedded in the seat cushion. The cushion supporting unit has a rectangular plate(11a), plural rectangular plate bodies(11b) fixed by pins, a guide plate(12) having a rack gear(12a), and a motor(13) sliding the guide plate. The waist of the passenger is contacted to the rear part of the seat cushion and the seat back by folding plural plate bodies with moving the guide plate forward. Fatigue is reduced with supporting the waist continuously.
