<p>A powered automotive seat (130). The powered automotive seat (130) includes an upper seat frame (132) and a lower seat frame. The upper seat frame (136) is attached to the lower seat frame (132). The lower seat frame (132) is attached to a suspension base assembly (140) includes a lower base (142) mountable on the floor of an automotive vehicle, an upper base (144) capable of receiving the lower seat frame (132) and a pair of base arms (146) attaching the upper base (144) to the lower base (142). An air spring (148) is attached between the upper base (144) and the lower base (142). An automatic control unit (160) selectively decreases and increases air pressure in the air spring (148). The air spring (148) extends and contracts in response to changes in air pressure by the automatic control unit (160).</p> |
