The invention relates to a valve drive comprising a housing (24), a motor (13), which acts upon an actuating bar (8) by means of a drive element (9) in a spindle drive (14) and a load sensor (17-20, 28) which is connected to the actuating bar (8). Said load sensor (17-20, 28) comprises a switch (28), which is actuated by an actuating arrangement, which is connected in a detachable manner to the drive element (9) by means of a clutch (23, 27). The switching state of clutch is dependent upon the axial position of the drive element (9) in relation to the housing (24).
