A method for implementing speech channel exchange in the call succession of a mobile communication system: increase switching network in the base station controller; the mobile communication system complete the authentication for calling party mobile station, and determining location area of the called party mobile station and initiating paging; acquire the information of the base station transceivers coverage area that calling party and called party mobile station located in respectively, and determine whether calling party and called party mobile station located in the base station transceivers of the same one base station controller management: if Yes, the switching network increased by the base station controller complete the speech channel succession; if No, the mobile exchange device complete speech channel succession. The invention may reduce roundabout speech path, reduce the volume of data flow and transmission delay between the subsystems of the mobile system.
