PURPOSE: An apparatus for starting of a vehicle is provided to reduce fuel consumption on congestion. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises an identification number input part(100) to which identification number is inputted to keep a condition in which starting is possible; a clutch switch(110) sensing working condition of a clutch; a brake switch(120) sensing working condition of a brake; an accelerator pedal switch(130) sensing working condition of an accelerator pedal; a heating switch(140) turned on to heat a car room; an engine condition sensing part(150) sensing whether an engine runs; a display part(170) indicating starting condition; and a control part(160) receiving the identification number from the identification number input part to determine whether the identification number is identical with an identification number stored therein, receiving signal from the switches and the engine condition sensing part to determine condition for starting and stopping the engine, controlling power supply to a starting motor(20) and an ignition unit(60), and indicating information through the display part.
