SYSTEM FOR REMOVING NUTRIENTS OF SEWAGE/WASTEWATER

PURPOSE: A system for removing nutrients of sewage/wastewater is provided, which is characterized in that a timer and an air supplier are installed at the sewage/wastewater treatment plant. Wastewater flow and aeration/non-aeration time are controlled respectively by the timer and the air supplier. So discharge of nutrient of treated water is stable. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a pair of primary intermittent aeration tanks(4a,4b); a pair of secondary intermittent aeration tanks(5a,5b); a pair of reaeration tanks for gas stripping; a final settling tank; a flow switch(3); and optional anaerobic tanks(7a,7b) for phosphorus release.
