<p>In a method to set rotating tools for tooling work pieces, the tool (1) shows a flange (11) or similar provided with a reference surface (13), at least a first tool part (3) with working tools, a setting device (5) and at least one transfer device (4) which is arranged to pass through the tool part (3) and shows a length exceeding the thickness of the tool part (3). The setting device (5) comprises a first part (6) with a reference plane (16) and a second part (7) with a reference surface (17) which is arranged to lie against the tool part (3) during tooling of the work piece and which reference surface will be located near the working tool. The transfer device (4) shows two end surfaces (14, 15) of which the one is arranged to lie against the reference surface (13) on the flange (11) and the other against the reference surface (13) on the flange (11) and the other against the reference plane (16) in the first part (6) of the setting device (5). In the method to set the tool (1) or the tool part (3) the second part (7) of the setting device (5) is brought to a displacement in axial direction of the tool (1) by a radial turning in the tool (1) and relative to the first part (6) of the setting device (5) and permits or influences by that the tool part (3) or its working tool to a simultaneous adjustement in axial direction of the tool (1). The transfer device (4) transfers the reference of the reference surface (13) on the flange (11) to the reference surface (17) on the second part (7) of the setting device (5) via the reference plane (16) in the first part (6) of the setting device (5).</p> |
