MULTIPLE STEEL BOX TYPE MAIN GIRDER AND REINFORCING METHOD FOR MAIN GIRDER THEREOF

PURPOSE: A multiple steel box type main girder is provided to reduce the size of a main girder and to utilize the lower space of a bridge and to make an economical plan for a road by lowering the formation height of a road around a bridge. CONSTITUTION: The multiple steel box type main girder(1) comprises a rib(4) attached perpendicularly to the inner wall surface of an outer wall(6) to reinforce the strength of the outer wall(6), and one or more gusset plates(5) made of steel materials and located parallel to the outer wall(6) to reinforce the sectional strength of the main girder and installed to intersect the rib(4) attached to the outer wall(6) perpendicularly.
