An notification system uses a cellular mobile phone activated by detection means to call another phone. The mobile phone may be activated by a direct electrical signal or the call button may be operated using a push action solenoid plunger. The detection means may include pressure mats, light sensors, sound sensors, ultrasonic sensors or any other switch. The system can be used in houses, vehicles, boats, caravans, aircraft, suitcases, etc. The notification may be of an intruder and the signal may be used for tracking or locating.
