PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device requiring no steering torque sensor. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device 1 is provided with an electric motor (DC motor) 13 and an electric motor control means (control device) for controlling a driving of the electric motor 3. The steering device 1 is provided with a differential gear device (epicyclic gear mechanism) 11 in which a first element is connected to a steering wheel 3, a second element is connected to steered wheels W, W and a third element is connected to the electric motor 13. It is characterized that the electric motor controlling means 14 controls the electric motor 13 such that a rotation ratio of the first element and the second element becomes constant regardless of an operation state and a behavior of a vehicle. |
