PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material excellent in image and black-and-white character delineation power, ensuring suppressed coloration of a white background and further ensuring both very rapid processing and suppressed coloration of a white background-visually excellent whiteness. SOLUTION: In the silver halide color photographic sensitive material, the total amount of hydrophilic binders in all layers disposed on the silver halide emulsion layer side of a reflective substrate is <=6.8 g/m<2> , film thickness is <=8.8μm and the chromaticity of unexposed regions after color development satisfies the conditions 91<=L*<=96, 0.3<=a*<=1.6 and -8.0<=b*<=-4.8 or reflection density is <=0.05 at 450 nm, <=0.07 at 550 nm and <=0.05 at 650 nm.
