PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for evacuation and safety in facilities for accommodating persons who have to hope for deliverance by temporarily taking shelter because of difficulty in evacuating quickly by themselves. SOLUTION: The hospital facilities 10 accommodate building users to be rescued in an emergency, who have to hope for deliverance by temporarily taking shelter because of difficulty in evacuating quickly in the emergency. On the same floor of a building, there are provided a patient bedroom 11a which serves as an accommodation space 11 for accommodating the building users to be rescued in the emergency, a passage 12 which communicates with the patient bedroom 11a, fire escape stairs 13 which communicate with the passage 12, and a shared space 14 which communicates with the passage 12 and is provided separately from the stairs 13. The passage 12 and the shared space 14, and the passage 12 and the stairs 13 are comparted by glass fire doors 31 and 32, glass fireproof partition walls, etc., which are provided in such a manner as to be openable/closable, respectively, in order to secure a space in which the building users to be rescued in the emergency temporarily take shelter in case of fire.
