PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a runner for a partition wall capable of positioning studs without requiring much labor for work, a partition wall structure using this runner, and a partition wall execution method. SOLUTION: A ceiling runner 2A being the runner for the partition wall is formed in an almost cross-sectional U shape out of a long size bottom plate 21 and left and right side plates 22. The side plates 22 have a cutout part 24 formed by being cut out from the lengthwise directional edge side, and a turning-in part 25 formed by turning a part of the side plates 22 in the vicinity of the cutout part 24 inside in a U shape. The partition wall is constituted by installing two boards (unillustrated) by inserting upper end parts 41 and 51 of the studs 4 and 5 between the mutual side plates 22 of the ceiling runner 2A, and sandwiching the studs 4 and 5 and the ceiling runner 2A.
