PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful electrode plate transportation device which can move a suspension frame or a crane at an arbitrary height, and thereby can insert a positioning guide into a positioning pin at the arbitrary height. SOLUTION: The electrode plate transportation device 1 has gear units 17 and 25 for moving up and down the positioning guide 10, a drive motor 21 for driving the gear units 17 and 25, and a one-direction torque transfer means 40 for transferring torque of only one direction from the drive motor 21 to the gear units 17 and 25.
