PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring clutch which can suppress deterioration of lifetime due to defect of lubrication. SOLUTION: An annular inward projection part 4 is provided to the inner circumference of a pulley 1, and an annular outward projection part 5 is formed to the outer circumference of a pulley hub 3. A coil spring 8 is built in the inside of a spring storage space 6 formed between the opposing faces of the outward projection part 5 and the inward projection part 4, the outside diameter face of the coil spring 8 is brought into pressure contact to torque-transmitting faces 7a and 7b formed to an inner face of an outer peripheral wall of the spring storage space 6. Grease G1 for the lubrication filled in the inside of the spring storage space 6, and an end part opening of a fitting space 9, formed between the one end part of the pulley 1 and the one end part of the pulley hub 3, is closed tightly by a sealing device 10. The sealing grease G2 is filled in the inside of the fitting space 9, and the outflow of the grease G1 for lubrication to the fitting space 9 by centrifugal force, during high space rotation of the pulley 1, and the pulley hub 3 is suppressed so as to prevent contacting parts of the coil spring 8 and the torque transmitting faces 7a and 7b from defect of lubrication.
