PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a wheel cylinder pressure exactly by means of a linear valve in spite of characteristic deviation of a linear valve. SOLUTION: A desired wheel cylinder pressure Pti of each wheel is calculated according to a brake operating quantity of a driver (S200), a desired wheel cylinder pressure Pti for reducing a skid is calculated, when an anti-skid control is necessary (S30 to 80), a desired drive current It for the linear valve is calculated based on the deviation from the desired wheel cylinder pressure Pti and the actual wheel cylinder pressure Pi (S100), the ratio Ro of the desired drive current It to the actual drive current Im is calculated for N cycles, these mean values are calculated as a correction factor Rr for compensating the characteristic deviation, and the linear valve is controlled, based on the desired drive current Ita after the correction (S130, 160).
