PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter device which can be easily opened/closed from a fixed blade side, and ensure the printing accuracy by fixing a printing head even under a condition that a platen roller can be disposed only on the fixed blade side. SOLUTION: The cutter device comprises a long fixed blade, a round tooth mechanism in which a round tooth supporter to rotatably support the round tooth in contact with the fixed blade is moved in the longitudinal direction of the fixed blade while the round tooth supporter is urged in the approaching direction to the fixed blade, and a cam member which is disposed on either or each end part away from an area in which the round tooth is brought into contact with the fixed blade, and guides the round tooth supporter in the separating direction of the round tooth from the fixed blade as the round tooth mechanism is moved in the separating direction from the fixed blade.
