PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can print clearly by clearing outlines of image regions of characters and figures. SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus in which a laser light 20Y from a laser diode 20LY while scanned on the basis of inputted image data is exposed onto a photoreceptor to record, there is set an exposure amount-correcting circuit 18Y which detects the presence/absence of image data for every dot and controls an emission intensity and an emission period of the laser light according to the detection. |
