PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight rocket firework shell, in which combustibility is excellent, the amount of unburnt core which remains as residue to fall on the ground can be minimized, and bursting charge friendly to the environment is used. SOLUTION: Stars 3 are arranged along the inside surface of the shell skin. The bursting charge 5, which has a core 5a formed of biodegradable plastic-form pieces is filled in the shell. A shell inside-skin 1 of the shell is formed of regenerated card board form, that is, waste paper such as old news paper, corrugated board is pulped, molded in a hemispheric shape, and the inner and outer peripheral surfaces are made smooth by hot-press. The bursting charge 5 is scattered after bursting in the air, but due to the core 5a formed of biodegradable plastic foam, the weight of the firework shell is reduced, and accordingly, the amount of the charge can be reduced in shooting the shell. The plastic foam is very combustible and easily burnt out in scattering, and the amount of residue falling on the ground is also reduced. Even if it falls on the ground, the residue is easy to return to soil. The shell inside skin is a waste-paper molded product, so it is ecologically excellent.
