PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission belt which restains from producing abrasive powder, when it is running and is superior in stability with respect to dimensional changes due to aging and bending properties. SOLUTION: The transmission belt is toothed belt 1, constituted of a plurality of tooth parts 2 along an elongated direction of the belt and a back part 4 spirally embedding a core wire 3, which is a core body for reinforcement, on belt pitch line of the belt itself and the belt itself is constituted of urethane resin formation and simultaneously a stranded cord comprising filament of polyacrylate fiber serving as the core wire 3. In addition, it is possible to perform bonding treatment, to improve fluffy nature on the stranded cord. High bending can further be maintained, when a solid portion affixed ratio of bonding treatment agent is adjusted so as to that the fraction is 1-20 wt.%. The bonding treatment agent is preferably contains on isocyanate compound.
