PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate loading and unloading of members and to prevent collapse of the members and damage to the members, which is caused by friction between the members, during transportation, in a load mount that is placed on a truck's loading platform used to transport building members. SOLUTION: The load mount comprises a pair of support members 20, which are put apart and substantially parallel to each other, and posts 30 erected on the support members 20. The load mount also comprises holding members 40 provided at required heights such that the longitudinal direction of the holding members 40 is perpendicular to the axial direction of the posts 30. The load mount further comprises a bar 50, which is held at both ends by the holding members 40, and mounting members 60 disposed between the support members 20 such that the longitudinal direction of the mounting members 60 is perpendicular to the axial direction of the support member 20.
