PURPOSE: An independent surge tank for each of cylinders of an engine is provided to improve intake efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A surge tank includes an intake manifold(6) having a casket distributing air-fuel mixture with uniform quality and amount; an independent surge tank(10) having steel pipes branched from cylinders of the intake manifold connected thereto, respectively; an independent throttle body(8) connected with the independent surge tank, respectively, and including a throttle valve controlling amount of introduced air; a throttle shaft(12) rotating the throttle valve in the independent throttle body; a return spring(14) wound around an end of the throttle shaft to close the throttle valve; a throttle cable(18) keeping opening degree of the throttle valve; and a joined part(20) collecting introduced air before being supplied to the independent throttle body to supply. |
