PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a color filter having high brightness, a wide color reproduction range and excellent color reproducibility. SOLUTION: This coloring composition contains a coloring agent, a dispersant, an auxiliary dispersant, a compound having a polymerizable group and a polymerization initiator. The auxiliary dispersant cotains at least one of a colorless polycyclic aromatic compound and a polycyclic heterocyclic compound.
