PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater for bath which overcomes nonconformities found in the case of the temperature of cold water being increased and the hot water being supplied to a bath tub through a complex heating at a hot-water heat exchanger and an follow-up firing heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A hot-water feeding control means of a controller 5 adjusts the heating amount of both a hot-water feeding heat exchanger 8 and an follow-up firing heat exchanger 10, in such a way that a mixing temperature of hot water supplied from both ends of an additional firing pipe passage 3 to a bath tub 4 becomes the targeted hot-water feeding temperature and a flow rate of hot water fed to the bath tub 4 becomes maximum value, and further performs temperature adjustment control for adjusting the degree of opening of the hot water feeding pipe passage 2 under the operation of a water amount servo 13. A hot-water feeding control segment causes the heating amount at the hot-water feeding heat exchanger 8 to become smaller than a maximum heating amount, when the temperature adjustment control is carried out through single heating at the hot-water feeding heat exchanger 8, prevents heating conducted by the additional firing heat exchanger 9, when a water amount servo 13 is not fully opened and then performs temperature adjustment control through a single heating in the hot-water feeding heat exchanger 8.
