PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a float-type carburetor, which is small, light weighted, eliminates the need for a limiter cap of a fuel control system for regulating of the exhaust, stable and almost does not vary in fuel flow, simple in the metal mold structure of a carburetor body, in which a blowhole does not occur when forging of the carburetor body, and which almost eliminates the need for machining of the carburetor body after forging. SOLUTION: The float-type carburetor supplies the fuel regulated with a high speed fuel jet 24 from a fuel reservoir 28 provided at a bottom part of the carburetor into a high speed fuel nozzle hole 22a arranged at a venturi part 2a between a choke valve 4 and a throttle valve 14 of intake passages 2, 2b of the carburetor body. The carburetor body is vertically divided for the intake passages 2, 2b into three pieces of an upper stream side member A, a central member B and a down stream side member C, the choke valve 4 is supported to the upper stream side member A, the venturi part 2a of the intake passages is formed at the central member B, a passage member 23 projecting into a float chamber 28a and the fuel reservoir 28 are supported thereto, and the throttle valve 14 is supported to the down stream side member B.
