PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor joint device capable of surely checking inconvenience such as causing an opening part in a joint part by absorbing an expanding movement equivalent to a width dimension of the joint part when there is a space equivalent to a width dimension of the almost joint part from an end part of the joint part. SOLUTION: This floor joint device is composed of a slide joint plate capable of covering the joint part by slidingly moving when the joint part becomes wide in one joint part, side floor skeleton, a fixed side joint plate for supporting a tip part of an inclined face having the lower side projecting outside by a joint part side end part in a housing state of the slide joint plate, and installing a rear end part on the other joint part side floor skeleton, a movable joint plate covering an upper part in the housing state of the slide joint plate, and pushed upward by pushing force of the fixed side joint plate when the joint part becomes narrow by an earthquake, and an engaging piece installed in a tip lower part of the fixed side joint plate for automatically engaging with an engaging part formed in a tip part of the slide joint plate when the joint part becomes wide, and automatically releasing engagement of the engaging part when the joint part becomes narrow.
