PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low tank drain valve capable of stabilizing the operation of a cam by carrying out the movement of the cam in large washing having a low frequency of use. SOLUTION: This low tank drain valve is provided with a casing 3 having an operating part 3 for large and small washing and communicated with a drain cylinder 4, one driving link disposed in the casing 3 by the operating part for large washing, an inner sleeve 11 connected to the driving link and having a valve element at the lower end and a float on the upper side thereof, the other driving link disposed in the casing 3 by the operating part for small washing, and an outer sleeve 12 connected to the driving link, externally fitted to the inner sleeve 11, and having a waiter 12a. In this arrangement, a cam 13 for engaging the outer sleeve with the inner sleeve is provided between the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve, and the cam is adapted to release engagement of the outer sleeve with the inner sleeve in large washing operation in which only the inner sleeve is elevated.
