PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing and a tool equipped with a chip removing mechanism by means of which chip recovery efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: The casing body 4 which is equipped with a front guide 3 at its ring formed edge is arranged around the circumference of the rotating tool 2 having cutting edge tip 1, and the chip removing space 5 is formed between the rotary tool 2 and the casing body 4. The above front guide 3 forms an inward facing projection 6 along its inner circumference to provide an air passage 7 which faces the above chip removing space 5. In an air-jet type, an air jet port 8 is opened in the inner circumferential wall to jet supply air toward the above air passage 7.
