PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation unit, in which an energy-saving can be attained and noise will not occur. SOLUTION: Heat-absorbing rods 2, formed into a shape enabling a gas to flow in the vertical direction, are erected in a case 1, in which the sun light is incident. An opening 1a is made in the below of the case 1, and an opening 1b is made in the top thereof. The solar light makes the temperature of the gas in the closed space to generate upward draft in the closed space. Thus, the gas can be sucked from the opening 1a in communication with a suction duct 3 and discharged from the opening 1b. Accordingly, indoor ventilation can be carried out by allowing the unit to communicate via a suction pipe with the inside of a room. The indoor ventilation may also be conducted by placing the unit comprising the rods 2 by the window. |
