PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable writing utensil which can be easily assembled by connecting a knock cam to a knock button in an easy and positive way. SOLUTION: A protruding edge (14) is formed on the circumference of a barrel part of the knock cam (7) of a rotary cam mechanism. A rib (17) is formed on the inner face of an insertion hole (16) of the knock button (15), and a locking hole (20) penetrating from the inner face to the outer face is formed in a part of the rib (17). The projecting edge (14) of the knock cam (7) finds its way into the locking hole (20) and becomes surely locked with the knock button (15). |
